During the season (April to September) we are OPEN 1.00pm until about 4:00pm every day except Sunday when we can open if requested. Also from 6:00pm until 9:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings.

Where we are
From the A96, heading from Elgin, left onto Forres High Street - Grant Park is on your LEFT. As you reach the west end of the Park, turn left onto South Street. We are on your left.Heading east from Inverness/Nairn on the A96, take the first entrance to Forres (on your right at the roundabout), past garage and Tesco's, straight over the next roundabout, take care through the town centre, with the town library on your left and Anderson Primary School on your right, turn RIGHT into South Street. We are on your left
Forres is a town and former Royal Burgh, situated on the Moray Coast about 30 miles east of Inverness. Thought to be "Varris" shown on maps by Ptolemy about 2000 years ago. It became a Royal Burgh around 1140a.d. Royal Burghs were founded by the King of Scots. In 1496, King James IV issues a Royal Charter laying down the rights and privileges which the town's people are believed to have held by an earlier Charter since the reign of King David I some 300 years earlier.

If you have never tried the game then we do have the facilities and equipment to teach you the basics. We also hold TRY BOWLS days so you can get an idea as to whether you like the game - there is no huge expense and we can loan you the necessary equipment until you find your feet and decide if you wish to continue.
